Clearly, the world needs another podcast wherein a bunch of middle-aged guys try to sound clever, right? We could not agree more, which is why we are going year by year, from 1979 to 2009, and finding those moments in sports, entertainment and culture from recent history that call out for retelling.

With nominal amounts of research, too much confidence and very little actual relevant expertise, we plan to go as deep as we can, in between our day jobs, marriages and fatherhoods, to reconsider our “almost history.” We promise scant facts, half-baked takes, inside jokes and B- answers to the questions in each episode.

And to answer your question: “Yes.” We really plan to tackle every. single. year.
